The engine house is one of my own designs.
It can be situated in an old mountain town, maybe somewhere on the east coast, which many of the On30 modelers can identify
with, or in an old city scene. The structure is fairly run down and has not been kept up by the town's population.
But, as you notice, enough funds have been collected to purchase a new fire truck. I guess all the pancake suppers,
that the firemen held in the upstairs hall , paid off for the community!
I installed the laser cut cedar
shingles, offered by the Paper Creek Model Works, on both roof sections. The heating facilities, for the engine house,
are located in the small addition at the rear of the building.
The foot print for the engine house is 10 x 12 inches.
The firetruck and ambulance, as well as all the figures, are included with the build-up.
